- Welcome to Dubois. I have been in business for over 20 years. My background and education has been associated with the outdoors and wildlife. I grew up in Nebraska and graduated from the University in Lincoln and am still a Cornhusker at heart. My life's paths has led me to Dubois, Wyoming and to my work here. An artist at heart but a craftsman in reality. I have a passion for western history and share much of what I have learned giving historical programs around the country. With various audiences of all ages, I demonstrate a 'common sense" approach to what the people were like in the past, what tools, clothing, weapons they used and what daily life was about. My business also includes a western design showroom and tannery. I have two sons, both Eagle Scouts of which I am very proud. The Wind River Valley where I am located is a very special place and I hope your travels will find you here some day and you can stop in for a visit.
